So update on me. (woo?)



Sean and I are moving into our apartment in about a week and a half. (We got one btw)



I got my mid-term grades, I'm pulling a 4.0 gpa. Which is pretty fricken impressive since my communications class is a bitch.



I'm taking my driving test on Friday. Hopefully it won't snow/ice that day. We fixed most of the car problems, only thing really left is the door which isn't a major issue. It opens and closes and that is all that really matters.



I'm really excited about the apartment. We got some things this past weekend for it. Mainly junk to hold us over until my stuff gets here from Florida.



It's a nice little place. 300 dollars a month, includes heat, water, and electricity. Can't complain.



That's about it really. Been busy with school. This place isn't really that awesome anymore *shrug*

And the best part about it is that it's in a nice safe neighborhood where everyone apparently takes their kids to trick or treat.



If you dump your kids somewhere to trick or treat, it's a good place to live.

Where have I been?



Hmmm.



Disability hearing. That went..well? I won't really know until next month. *shrug*



Then I have to rush a few projects for school and have the radio show this weekend. So I've been busy and don't really care about here.



But if anyone is super interested in the radio show, we go on at 6pm central time tomorrow. You can find the online stream at http://www.kaxe.org/.



Nothing special really. We sing two songs and we are done.



During tech rehearsal though I was the alto section. That was entertaining. None of the others showed up. It was like, "Hey! Alto section warm up.!" "Uh." "Well then. You are a solo section."

Got a random message via the shoutbox on a psp forum I've joined recently.



Someone wanted to know if I had made the tag I was using in my sig rotation (it's also the one I use for a stamp here)



It is one of my really old animated tags and not one of my better ones, but she loved it. So I tagged her up.



I'm really liking that forum. No stress. Misfits is a HUGE forum. 700 members and things are constantly moving.



Rebel Dezigns is a much smaller place. I've gotten to know most of the people there already. It's run by an artist. She is also a friend of mine and a great tagger as well. She suggested I join when I told her I needed a place to go that wasn't as high demand on a tagger as Misfits can be. (I am still a member of Misfits)



So I joined and have enjoyed it so far. No posting requirements and it's a great feeling around there. I know most of the members from various groups and I haven't had any issues.



I've also taken to tagging more in Photoshop than PSP while there. It's a nice feeling. (And animating is a hell of a lot easier)



It's nice. :)

Well shit.

Apparently my PM will run out while I'm out of town and I can't spend money until we are back.



Guess people will have to deal for a day.



All the worry about my hearing has kept my sleeping all funky. I'll be glad for Tuesday. Irregardless of what happens, the stress will be gone.





Meh.

*watches a 2gb folder of fonts unzip*



I'm in a happy place right now.



The crazy bitch? Harassment charges being laid in against her Monday. I had enough and today I went to the counselor and the dean of students. Dealt with.



Tuesday is my disability hearing. This weekend is a weekend to ourselves.



Next weekend is the radio show. Weekend after that is the summit weekend for Senate.



Yeah. Good things happening. :)

This rant is dedicated to a special female whom I am not allowed to talk to at school. :)



Back story: A female in my choir class decided one day (when I was having a bad day) to push my buttons. After me asking her repeatedly to please leave me alone, shit hit the fan and I ended up disassociating. Huge thing went down and I had to tell this girl some of my private mental health details just in hopes of getting some space so she would leave me alone. It never happened. There was a conduct hearing and it was told to both of us that if either of us spoke to each other or about the incident from that point on, there would be massive issues. Totally understood.



Fast forward a bit: Since that time, the girl has been caught saying a few things about me and has been reprimanded. It had stopped for the most part and I had started to go about my happy way. As it was mentioned she is in Choir with me. She sings soprano. I am a contralto. (Meaning I sing friggen alto/tenor/bari)



She has issues singing on pitch. Something that has been a problem since day one. Something out of my control and I don't have any control over. Not my section, don't care. She was offered voice tutoring, but hasn't showed up.



Under the guidance of the dean of students and counselors, it was decided that she would not sing with the choir until she could sing on pitch. She was informed of this Friday. I only know about this because I am the choir directors work-study and she told me in confidence. I didn't think anything of it. Again. Not my section, not my problem. Right?



Oh man was I fucking wrong.



Today in communications class, her name was called on to pick a mid-term topic. She had dropped the class, but the teacher never took her out of the gradebook. When her name was called, a girl in the back made a comment about how she was kicked out of Choir for having an argument with a student with mental health issues.



Excuse me?



She isn't kicked out. She is still supposed to attend class. She just isn't allowed to sing with the group because she can't sing on pitch.



So why would the argument be brought up?



Yeah, no. Next time this bitch breathes my direction funny, she will get an earful. I swear to fucking god. I'm not some scapegoat.



And yes, I let the right people know what is going on. :)



But I'm pissed. And I can't call my mom until I am home. >.>
